Your product, your applicable agreement
This page explains the OrthoTruss licensing approach. It does not replace a software license, accepted purchase agreement, or subscription schedule. The agreement delivered with your product identifies the contracting party, permitted use, access period, and restrictions. Third-party components and content retain their own licenses.
Studio & Practice Conductor
Studio Free and Practice Conductor Free are no-cost tiers of proprietary clinical software. Available capabilities and beta limitations are described in the current product pages. Studio Advanced and Conductor Pro are paid modules whose sales are currently paused for further validation. They are not unlocked merely by downloading the free application.
The planned paid model licenses a treatment location and its practice database, with workstations at that location. Current reference prices and scope are shown on the clinical plans page; final terms must be presented before a purchase can be made.
Practice Pioneer
Pioneer offers free planning access and separate paid options. Pioneer Pro is priced at $100 per month or $1,000 per year, plus applicable tax. New subscriptions are available through the Pioneer web account; separate 72-hour no-card trial starts remain paused, and a trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. New Location Scout purchases provide 30 days of web access for $300 and do not include a Pro credit. Previously earned credits remain subject to their accepted terms.
The current seller is OrthoTruss LLC. Read the Pioneer Terms of Service and Subscription Schedule. Existing perpetual Pioneer purchases retain their purchased local-use rights for the purchased major version; they are not converted into subscriptions. A subscription ending does not erase local projects, exports, or backups. Hosted services remain subject to their own terms and availability.
Pioneer Signals, including Market Signals and Practice Pulse, is in development and not offered for purchase. Dental Opportunity Explorer and expanded verified provider intelligence are also planned. Joining an update list grants no license or reserved access.
First Principles Designer & research software
Access to a browser tool is separate from permission to copy, distribute, or embed its underlying code. The biomechanics research library uses the Ortho-Biomechanics Research & Citation License, a source-available license for permitted non-commercial research and education. It is not an open-source license.
Research relying on the library must follow its citation and attribution requirements. Commercial use, including clinical-practice use, requires a separate written license. Redistribution and incorporation into another distributed work require prior written arrangement. Read the license and citation files supplied with the library version you obtain; this summary does not expand those permissions.
Koinon Tax
Koinon Tax is in development. Its public preview does not grant a production license, professional tax service, or right to distribute the software. Any future distribution or paid offering will identify the applicable license and terms.
Education, images & third-party materials
Our original writing, software, and brand assets are protected unless a specific notice grants permission. Historical images, publications, linked resources, and third-party components have their own rights and attribution requirements. Follow the credit or license attached to the specific item. Public-domain status for an image does not place an entire page or application in the public domain.
Collaboration by arrangement
Developers, researchers, educators, and institutions can contact us about research, integrations, teaching, or a commercial license. Describe the intended use and the product involved so the scope can be agreed in writing. Please keep patient records and other sensitive information out of a public inquiry.
